We had a nice flush of roses in the autumn garden this year which were enjoyed by this particular insect (I’m not sure what kind it is so it will remain anonymous). The rose is “Kiss Me” and is very fragrant…it must’ve been tasty too. When I first saw the title of this song, it didn’t ring a bell but I recognized it after viewing it on YouTube. This part of the lyrics seems to fit this little garden scene: ” I’m in with the in crowd, I know every latest dance…” . Even though this isn’t square dance music, they sure seemed to be doing “heel toe, dosey doe” all throughout the rose.
I don’t know about you but when I page through the list of musical themes trying to decide which one fits my photo ( I sort of work in reverse order), melodies and memories flood my mind. Amazing how these tunes fly one back to places that had been long forgotten.
